Hi!  I have had several ferrets in the past few years requiring Pred.
The problem is if you get the flavored pedia version at the pharmacy, it
usually contains sugar, which for an insulinoma ferret is NOT GOOD!!  My
vet in NY found a compounding pharmacy, which will flavor the medications
for you and not change the suspension/dosage amount(which pharm flavored
ones at i.e. CVS do).  It's TRIAD Compounding in CA.  Since I've moved, I
cannot find the #, but you should be able to find them on-line.
