Hi Dr Williams,
When I said a good dose of oral Ivamec I didn't mean huge. The stated dose
was 0.4ml per 1kg body weight so I rounded it off on the higher, not the
lower. For example: for a .800gm ferret the dose worked out to be 0.32 ml.
I gave 0.35. For the males I went up a touch more for example a 1.350kg
ferret got 0.60ml rather than 0.54. It certainly didn't cause any strange
effects on these two ferrets.

My boy with the cauliflower ear that lost the use of back legs for a while,
weighed in at a puny .835kg so I gave him 0.340. My other young man with
the seiziers/neurological problems weighed in at 1.1kg at the time and I
gave him 0.5.

Hope this answers your concern.

As for the chin dust and what the ingredients are, I am going to ring the
company I got the dust off to find out as I havn't still got the packet .
I will let you know.

Thank you so much for your help and advise. It is really appreciated.

Keep well and happy,
Kindest Regards,
Colleen and the Squilibrato ones.
