Jena:
     Can you drive to Albuquerque and save those frequent flyer miles
for vacation by any chance? They keep talking about beefed-up security
at the airport here, too, and I have no idea what might happen. I don't
think I'd want to risk it, just speaking for myself.
    Welcome to New Mexico!  I can suggest a vet if you need one, and from
time to time, we have students at the University of New Mexico who own
ferrets and who post to this list.  We even have a Las Cruces contingent
(2nd-largest city in the state).  But believe me, coming from Seattle, you
will find our cities look very small!
