**The advice dispensed by myself in reference to FML postings is not meant
to supplant the advice of veterinarians who are in charge of the patient.
If the patient is not currently under the care of a veterinarian, the client
is recommended to take their ferret to one.**

The standard medical treatment for hyper adrenal disease is the use of
Lysodren (generic = mitotane) at a dose of 23 mg/lb once daily for 7 days
then twice daily lifelong.

Proliferative colitis is usually seen in ferrets less than 1 year old.
Standard treatment for low grade diarrhea is usually antibiotics
(amoxicillin) and an anti-diarrheal (such as peptobismol).  I did not notice
the use of any anti-diarrheal.
 
This is probably not ECE due to the mildness of symptoms.
