You shouldn't have any problems traveling through Virginia, Maryland or
even around DC.  I always recommend bringing with you all the fuzzie
vaccination records though, just in case.  I would bring some of your own
water with them, or use spring water so that they don't get the ferret
version of "Montezuma's Revenge" <grin> that could get ugly in a car!!!
