Hi,

Just before the holidays I wrote about my ferret Ginger who is 3 1/2 years
old. She had Adrenal Surgery on December 26th - All went well - No Cancer.
She had the left adrenal gland removed and I was told that the right one
looked fine. She has regrown the hair on her tail (Almost all of it) and
some on her tummy where they shaved her. I know that sometimes ferrets do
not regrow the hair they lost before the surgery, but, since the surgery she
has lost alot of hair on her bottom - I mean its BALD. Is this normal? Is
she going through the shedding season? Also, I noticed this Monday that her
vulva seems a bit swollen and when she went to wee wee - I noticed some
green mucus. What does this mean? I tried calling my vet, but he is away
this week. Should I be worried or are these just signs of post-surgery?
