Sad Stories:

I agree with the letter from Gaye Stantis. After reading a letter about a
loss I immediately find my girls and hold, hug and love them as hard as I
can. My girls don't usually understand why they are getting extra affection
but they put up with it.

intestinal blockage:

Only once in four years have we had a problem with Ootz's health. She woke
me one morning about 5am vomiting. I got her out of the cage and put her in
the bed with us. She went to sleep. This told me she was sick. After I
had talked to Patricia at the Weatherford shelter I got a hairball remedy
and gave her some. By night she was fine.

It seems that she had eaten part of an odor eater that hubby put in his
shoes. Since that day shoes with padding or insertable insoles are not put
where fuzzies can get to them. Knowing how fuzzies react to shoes in
general I urge folks to think about leaving shoes where babies can get to
them.
