Do any of you have ferrets that love to attack the vacuum cleaner as it's
running?

Definitely, that is one of the things I tell non ferret people to show how
they are different than cats. You wouldn't see a cat until it was off and
put away, but it only takes my guys a minute to get over the shock from the
noise than I can't get them out of my way. I suck the hose onto Misha's
back and he gets real feisty!!

My friend is into falconry and has a red-tailed hawk. He heard rumors that
some in England and such use a combination of the two for hunting and my
friend and I were curious if this is true.

This confuses me. I am interested to hear other people's response. We were
at the park the other day with the fuzzies on their leashes playing. I saw
a large hawk, swoop over us and sit in a tree above us and watch them
forever!!!! I'm pretty sure he wanted to eat the ferrets. Of course the
ferrets were oblivious so I protected them and moved them away from the
hawk. Anyone ever heard of a hawk attacking a domestic ferret? I am in an
area with alot of hawks and we go out to play alot, always on a leash but I
don't know how quick the hawk could be if he wanted them.
