These are the results of Buster's blood chemistry.  He was taken to the
vet with symptoms of teeth grinding, black tarry stools, lethargy, not
eating.
 
ALKP = 159 U/L
ALT = 2325 U/L
BUN = 10.8 mg/dl
CREA=0.18 mg/dl
GLU = 102.5 mg/dl
TP = 6.10 g/dl
 
My vet is not very ferret knowledgable and doesn't quite know what to
make of these test results.  We currently have Buster on a protocol for
gastric ulcer (heliobacter) treatment consisting of antibiotic, flagyl
and pepto bismal.
 
She is wondering if the results are indicative of liver cancer.
 
If someone out there can give me some help with this, I'd appreciate it.
