We say that all our shelter ferrets are special, and need good homes, but
this boy is a special case.  He is a 3 year old sable male named Bandit,
fixed and descented, very friendly (lots of kisses!) and playful.  He came
to us with his brother (Schooner) who was 6.  Unfortunately, Schooner got
ECE and never really recovered, he had surgery and we discovered that both
adrenals were affected and he had major cysts on the liver.  He seemed to
be recovering nicely, and then Sunday he crashed and we could not bring him
back.  So now Bandit is very lonely, he REALLY misses his brother.  He
needs to go to a home with at least one other ferret, but a friendly one,
and the sooner the better.  My husband and I have been giving him lots of
attention, but he needs a ferret playmate.  He comes with a Midwest cage
for $150, or without for $75.
