I had a couple of ferrets once that knew I wouldn't let them out until they
went potty. I would put my hand in the cage and drop them into the litter
box over and over. It was tedious but it worked eventually. Anabelle would
'fake it' though, by scooting her butt in the corner and sitting there for a
few seconds. This group of ferrets I have now... please... it'll never
happen. I just have litter boxes everywhere outSIDE of the cage as well. If
you set one out in site of the cage, your beastling may use that litterbox
for his outtings. Just a thought. Good luck.
