My little Fleur has been sick and after spending the afternoon doing tests
on her at the vet, it seems she has something the size and shape of a lima
bean in the top section of her intestine. It looks like she will be going
in for surgery tommorrow.

Does anyone have any tips for how to help Fleur feel better and get better
in this? I tried making the "duck soup" but I couldn't find the Sustacal
in any stores here (BTW, I love in Canada, do they even have it here?) I
used vanilla Ensure instead. She won't eat so I had to squirt it down her
throat with a syringe. I'm afraid to make her struggle though because she
is so weak.

It also seems she is so sick that her reflexes aren't working. I tried to
get her to yawn so I could get some soup in her, but the old trick doesn't
work.

Britt
