Just a quick hint to the poster who was having trouble cleaning ferret ears
(sorry, I dont remember who!) We tried the moistened Qtip method with
little success. More Rocket was traumatized and I was afraid I would damage
his little ears sticking that thing in it! We have since switched to a
liquid ear cleaner that we got at the pet store for cats (I dont remember
the name off hand but Im sure there are several types) You just put a few
drops in the ears at bath time and massage it in. The ferret then shakes
his head (a natural reaction to something in the ear!) and presto! Clean
ears! Has worked wonders for us, although Rocket still detests bath time!
Hope this helps!

Diane
