I posted about this last spring but could use some information on the
subject again.

First: does anyone on this list have experience taking ferrets out of
California (on a plane)? Would the authorities try to seize my ferrst
if I was leaving the country?

Second: If so, what airlines allow ferrets? I've heard that some airlines
will let a passenger carry his pets onto the plane with him if the pets fit
underneath the seat in a carrier. I'd be flyign from San Francisco to
Amsterdam.

Third: What are the regulations for taking ferrets into the Netherlands?

Last: Does anyone have experience with pets and leases in Amsterdam? The
apartment I'm supposed to move into has a no pets lease but I'm wondering if
landlords in Holland tend to be open to the idea of 'pet deposits'.

Thanks for any info,
Kat
