Hey all,

Terrorization: I have 3 ferrets, and 2.5 of them have lived together
for about 3 years now, and the 3rd moved in about 1.5 years ago.
Lately, they have been playing *very* rough. I know because I "hear"
them. And I'll come see, and one is pulling on the other's ear causing
pain. Now, they've never done this before, and I'm wondering if the
onset of spring has just made them more rambunxious. They seem to pick
on the oldest one (Nina is 5.5). They want to play, but she just doesn't
want to play as much as my 3 year olds do. So, is this normal? Are
any of you other ferret owners experiencing this? I thought maybe my
male ferret was just horny or something (he is fixed), but the other female
ferret picks on Nina too.

Also, I've heard of some ferrets that really love water and baths.
Does that have to do with how they are raised (i.e., you let them
play in water when they are little and they grow to love water)?
All of my ferrets are rescue ferrets and I got them at Nina-3.5 years,
Scooter-6 months, Tavi Bear-1.5 years. They "tolerate" their baths,
but they don't "enjoy" them by any means.

And one more thing, Nina seems to like to swim a little. When they
are in the tub (the 3 of them together), she will swim around, even
though she could just stand if she chose. Now that she is getting
older (and she loves butt masages, by the way) I'm thinking about
filling up the tub so she can swim around 3 times a week or so, so that
she can build up her muscles and such - you know, physical therapy.
Anybody have any success or comments with/about this??

Thanks,

Chris.
