That sounds like it might be that very intermittently shed and small
coccidia species, Troy.

I am so sorry that you and others have gone through this no matter what
the cause is.

The place that can help find the cause from specimens or cadavers:

http://www.ferrethealth.msu.edu/

which is much, much, much better than the standard labs.

MANY THANKS to those who remembered us while a human family member was
so very ill (especially my fellow FHL moderators and Bill and Helen)
and during his two emergencies recently, and to all the FHL moderators
who did the vast majority of my work, too, during that. He is home and
halfway comfy and will be having a smallish surgery as a follow-up
which will result in the problem being completely corrected. When the
surgery will be done will depend on future test results so may be as
early as next week but could be in two or three weeks or maybe even
later. Many thanks, too, to Patty for a great deal of guidance and
patience, more than she knows. Meanwhile, loads of meds, and other
special things to continue to do but he is up and walking around and
beaming about being able to...

The FHL moderators are
Pam Sessoms
Patty Kaczorowski
Troy Lynn Eckart
Dr. Bruce Williams
Julie Fossa
and me.

Sukie (not a vet)
