This is in response to Dale about stopping the bleeding when accidentally
clipped into the quicken: What I use and always will is BAG BALM.  It is
used for cow utters chapping, and it is an antiseptic.  It is like a
vaseline type substance so it is thick and it won't hurt your babies if
they lick it.  i've been using it for years as chapstick and use it for my
child's diaper rash.  You can usually find it in any pharmacy or try the
feed store.  It is great for cuts(not too deep) and dry body parts.  Hope
this helps out.
