Just another comment on Ferrets that are not willing to be held.  My
Renegade also doesn't particularly like to be held.  He will tolerate it for
awhile right after he has gotten up but still acts fidgety.  As for when he
is tired not a chance.  He will play and play till he gets restless and
starts to get into trouble more often, then keep playing / getting into
trouble till he gets put in bed then finally crashes.
