Barb writes of a determined ferret who won't give up scratching at a carpet
and door to get into a room.
 
I see two choices:  1)  Get rid of the sofa bed and get another futon
allowing the kid access to the room.  2) Two words--Bitter Apple (this one
worked great for me when my kids scratched at the door).
