ferret eye problem

My ferret has developed a white spot directly in the middle of his eye
ball. I know that ferrets are susceptible to blindness, and he is not
young, so I am thinking it may be glaucoma.

I am taking him to the vet, but I am hoping to get some other
information before we go.

I would appreciate any thoughts on this, and any advice as to
