Shedding at base of tail means Adrenal?

I just read a post on a website that said Adrenal ferrets lose hair at the
base of their tails.  My ferret is loosing hair there...does that mean he
is Adrenal?  Please help, I am out of town right now and cannot bring my
ferret to the vet.  He hasn't had anything wrong with him.  He is 10
months old and has only had a cold.  Please email me or reply back on the
FML.  Thanks!!
