Hi

Congratulations regarding your new rescues! Regarding their vaccinations,
consult the AFA Vaccination Protocols at
http://www.ferret.org/vaccination.htm

It states-

Canine Distemper:
Ferrets over 14 weeks of age with no, unknown, or outdated vaccination
history: Give a series of two vaccines given at 2 weeks apart, then
annually on the anniversary of the last booster.

Rabies:
Ferrets over 14 weeks of age with no, unknown, or outdated vaccination
history: Give 1 ml SQ and then annually.

It is a very good idea to separate the rabies and canine distemper
vaccinations by a week or two to minimize the load on the ferret's immune
system. In the event of a vaccine reaction, you will also be able to
isolate the cause of the problem.

Happy ferreting!
