What foods do you feed over there? It something other then the laxative
is helping to push the hair through, you are probably right. I know I
had a ferret who refused hairball laxative, no if and or buts. So I
just give him alot of ferrettone. And he never had a hairball problem.
I know the tone gave him the running poops like the lax did and the oils
in the tone helped to coat everything. I would not recommend this method
unless you have a ferret who does not like lax.

It will be interesting to see what you feed or what is in you ferrets
diets.
