Ferret Wise Shelter is searching for several SPECIAL PLACEMENT HOMES for
ferrets which entered the shelter last Fall-

These ferrets were all very neglected breeding animals --

The ferrets are:

Betsy 3 yr. old late alter female sable
vaccinated CD: 9/95 Rabies 6/96

Wildcard 11.5 mo. old late alter male sable
vaccinated CD: 9/95 Rabies 6/96

Anna 3 yr. old late alter female sable with cinnamon undertones and white
undercoat
vaccinated CD: 9/95 Rabies 6/96

All above ferrets have previously been traumatized -- they require AN ADULT
HOME with LOw or NO STRESS>

Reactive to loud noises- especially metal banging. Have predominantly mild
temperament unless startled.

Preferred placement would be in a home with a female as primary caretaker --
or very gentle male. Those with an understanding of animal psychology
preferred, and a good relationship with an understanding vet.

All the above animals are playful and active.

Annie likes to hide in dark places -- and will resist being picked up from
time to time.

Wildcard is still a very excitable little (big) boy, those pondering him are
cautioned not to over excite him--- he doesn't know how to stop!!!

Qualified candidates will go through shelter prescreening requirements.
Have a vet reference--- written permission from landlord (if applicable) and
will report on a scheduled basis to shelter on the progress of the furchild.

Those who would like to consider adopting any of these children through the
shelter foster program are urged to contact the shelter. For $10 per month--
the shelter will provide all the love and care.... you will get updated reports
on your child and photos and do not even have to clean the litterbox.. Consider
the possibility of helping--- there are many ferrets in need of foster
assistance.

Those requiring further information -- please contact by email to

Thanks for your considerations!!
