Dear Dr. Williams and other distinguished vets on FML,

I have been wondering with all the posts relative to adrenal - bi-lateral
conditions if there is not the possiblity of tresting in the following
method... Removal of both affected glands and treating with hormoes in
place of the missing adrenals. Is this not a possibility and doesn't the
lysodren treatment in the cases of bi-lateral tumors need to be continued
for the life of the animal anyway? Is it possiblt that in place of
continual debilking and treatments with lysodren you could synthetically
regulate the ferret with ongoing hormoe therapy??

Thanks for your time and answers,

Alicia
