I am new to the FML and have ,for the most part, enjoyed my mail. One thing
that is troublesome is the seemingly ongoing battle between a shelter and a
prospective adopter. First I'd like to say that I don't know any of the
people involved so I guess I should mind my own buisness but, the battle has
been delivered to my mailbox on a regular basis so... Here I go.

Every shelter should be allowed to adopt out it's ferrets at it's discretion
as long as the basis is not descriminatory (race, creed, color, religion,
sex,)and so on. Please remember that a majority of ferrets that shelters
recieve have been neglected, abused, or have medical conditions. Shelter
directors have a personal stake and attachment to every ferret that comes
through the door. "There are no perfect plans, only perfect intentions."

To the prospective adopter; Get over it! Take your lumps, whether they are
real or imagined, and get on with your life! What's done is done.

"And that's all I have to say about that!"
