Give it time.  It might even take until the spring coat change, when his
body is in "hair-growing mode" again.  If you notice a blue-black, bruised
look to the shaved area, that's the dark hairs growing back in.  (Light
colored ferrets sometimes turn orange instead of blue.)

I'm sure other people will chime in with advice on stopping the nose-biting.
I just wanted to ask, if your mom insists on "getting rid of" your ferret,
please take Woozle to a local ferret shelter instead of having her put down.
Shelters have a lot of experience with problem ferrets, and she's far from
the worst they'll have seen.
