It might even take until the spring coat change, when his body is in "hair-growing mode" again. If you notice a blue-black, bruised look to the shaved area, that's the dark hairs growing back in. I just wanted to ask, if your mom insists on "getting rid of" your ferret, please take Woozle to a local ferret shelter instead of having her put down.
