Today I spoke with the Attorney General of Washington's office. The nice
lady I spoke with did not even KNOW what I was talking about, she hadn't
heard about it at all! She gave me the number of the city prosecutor's
office. I called them, and after the interminable beauracratic "hold" (not
even any entertaining muzak, just "beeps") I spoke with the receptionist.
She informed me that there had been a request for charge put in, but the
person responsible had not been charged. So, folks, it now rests in the
hands of the city prosecutor. His number is 1-509-456-3662. Let's hope
that he doesn't let this slip through as "not important."

My prayers go out to Jean and to the poor babies over the Rainbow Bridge and
one's left suffering. I do so hope they learn to trust again.

This young man is demented and sick. I hope he doesn't escape consequences
for his actions and live free to torment other animals. Heaven forbid he
should hurt Jean! As for her landlord,...... I just don't understand people
anymore. How can we hurt something smaller and weaker than us. These same
people must surely abuse children too. The ramifications are terrible.
