I just finished reading an article in the May/June issue of Ferrets
Magazine regarding Ferret specific foods.  It was extremely interesting
and informative.  The very topic of Ferret Foods vs.  Kitten foods was
discussed at length.  One thing to consider is not just the percentage of
protein the food contains but also the source of the protein, and also
how the food itself is produced.  I won't go into a lengthy post about
the article but I think it's well worth reading.
