Thank you each and everyone for replying to my question.  I have assigned
my oldest daughter to be Max's new mom (theres a reason for this) here at
the shelter.  She takes him everywhere with her.  She went and bought a
new big handbag that he fits into perfectly.  Yesterday for the first
time I caught him stealing food from the cats bowl.  I hadn't put it up
because he seemed so sickly and disinterested.  Well I guess he showed me
and when I went to put the bowl out of reach he ran immediately to the
bag and looked at my daughter, like "rescue me here ".  We both laughed
at him.  So I guess he will make it perhaps he has learned to play the
part to get special attention.  lol
