I'd think wheatgerm oil would be fine..  I sometimes also give flax seed
oil, organic from the refrig.  of the health food store.  Both have the
advantage of not having extra vit's D & E added so there's no danger of
over doing an oil soluable vitamin.  There probably would be loose stools
if too much is given, but no harm done unless they miss the litter box:)
