Hi Ferret-lovers,

I've been quietly observing for a few weeks now and have found all
your stories very funny and interesting. I am presently ferret-less,
due to circumstances I haven't been able to get a ferret until
*hopefully* this weekend. It's not easy finding a ferret in Sydney,
we've searched high and low and finally found the welfare society (Not
listed in any phone book due to lack of funds) who has given us a few
breeders names.

It's good in a way (Australia's lack of Ferrets) because you can't
really just jump in and get a ferret without plenty of thought. We've
been reading up and chasing up everything about ferrets for the last 6
months - including this discussion group.

Are there any other Aussies tapped into this? I'd be really
interested to know if anyone can recommend a vet in Sydney who has
ferret-knowledge that I can trust when I get my ferret. Lastly, Thank
God We have freedom of ferret down here - my sympathy to the people in
ferret-free zones!

Nice talkin to ya.
