Reminder:

Had several people write recently asking how to get info from Bruce. The
second listing below will tell you how. BTW, remember that he is very busy
with both his AFAIP and AccuPath work as well as them expecting a baby;
treat him with the same curtesy you would expect other to use toward you in
your line of work. Also, had a letter from someone wanting to know how to
find a vet; the third listing will help. The first is Ferret Central which
is probably the MOST essential webpage for any ferret owner.

1. http://www.ferretcentral.org
2. http://www.afip.org/ferrets/index.html with info on getting help from
Bruce Williams for consultation on difficult cases at
   http://www.afip.org/ferrets/webconsults.html
3. http://www.netfopets.com/starferrets.html

BTW, there is a special service available but it's ONLY for mysteries and
very unusual cases. It offers free veterinary consultations but in each
case the person has to be willing to meet the established rules set by the
vets (which are similar to Bruce's rules at the above consultations
address -- not surprising since most were worked up from Bruce's rules at
his suggestion -- so a person can preview his rules to get a general idea).
Those who need this service write to me directly; I send them the rules,
they start doing their part, the vets look at a brief description of the
case and decide whether to accept it, I verify some things, and it goes on
from there.
