Okay, okay. Want to buy your kids a book that has ferrets in it? The most
recient Animorphs book I've seen is a choose your own adventure type and
one of the animals the kid gets to pick to be is , of course, a ferret.
They really did their homework, and made sure to emphasise:

ferrets aren't rodents
ferrets are like kittens and dogs mixed up
when you are a ferret, all you want to do is play
ferrets don't bite people.
ferrets drape well over people :>
ferrets are supercool

In fact, of all the animals, there seemed to be a lot of love an effort
put into personifying being a ferret. It reads like our ferret propaganda
at it's best :>

So, if you have money to spare, I'd recommend picking it up, the ferret
talk is a hoot and well worth the price.
