Distemper/Rabies Reaction

Two of our ferret's had their shots on Wed.  Slinky had his rabies and
Sabrina her distemper.  They have been scratching/itching worse then ever
and this started the same day of the shot.  Has other ferret's had this
type of reaction?  We are using a humidifier for the itchy which the Vet
told us to use awhile back.
