I quit smoking a little while ago, but my wife still smokes.  Penny, our
youngest and only girl, LOVES to steal my wifes cigarette packs.  She takes
them right under the entertainment center where they are almost impossible
to retrieve.
 
She has no interest in ashtrays... with or without cigarette butts in them,
just the packs.  Beasley and Spaz, my two boys, have no interest at all in
stealing packs of smokes... or anything else for that matter.  Oh ok, Spaz
will steal a shoe's insole when the opportunity presents itself.
 
Our female cat also likes to haul off the cigarette packs, particularly if
it still has the cellophane on it.  She doesn't hide it like Penny, she
just bats it around.
