Here's a little story some may find amusing. . .

Our ferrets have a multi-level cage in the basement, but we usually give
them the run of our master suite. Recently we've had a rash of misbehaving
ferrets, one inparticular, Kira. Kira has been bad in a couple of ways.
She has gotten in the habit of doing her business in front of the door.
She also has been waking us up in the middle of the night by climbing on
the bed and scratching our legs.

To disipline Kira we brought our little travel cage into the room, and put
her in there if she acts up (or any of the others for that matter).

As a show of solidarity to protest this unjust treatment and lack of jury
trial the weasels have decided to make the open travel cage their new
favorite sleep spot, so that in order to punish one we now have to
inveriably remove a very cute sleeping weasel or two from the cage.

So now I feel as though the weasels have outsmarted me again. Am I to
remove "innocent" sleepy ferrets from the cage in order to punish the
guilty ones? Oh well, I have plenty of time to consider my ferret
jurisprudence until the trail resumes from a week long hiatus. Meanwhile I
am discussing a plea bargin agreement with lead defense couselor Watermark.
