Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I have been so busy with school and reading
and cleaning poop around here. I am staying caught up, which translates
into not having time for much else.

It was toe nail trimming night tonight. The boys, William and Harry, will
do ANYTHING for ferretone. They follow me around for quite awhile after
having their nails done, begging constantly for oil. If I stop moving for
a second, they are standing on their hind legs, hoping to look cute enough
to weasel some more out of me. ;-)

I keep finding chicken bones around. They have stashed a chicken wing
somewhere and totally destroyed it. I just find remnants of bone, broken
in half to get at the marrow. Thing is, it was HOT wings from Domino's.
Guess they like hot food like their Ma.

Update on the bald squeak toy. For those that don't know, I am fostering a
small poodle, who has had her vocal chords clipped. Thus squeak toy. But
she also has a growth hormone deficiency, which makes her hair as thin as
an old woman's and causes hyper-pigmentation so her skin is black under the
white hair. She has decided to be a ferret. She will sit up and beg for
raisins when I am doling them out, she chases and plays with the ferrets
(especially Miss Mazel Tov) and has now decided that duck soup is a good
thing. She already eats the ferret food (ok, so all the animals eat the
same damn thing here) and is also trying to hop around like a ferret too.
I may need to get an animal shrink for her, since I am sure she will have
an identity crisis sooner or later.

It got fairly warm for a few days and now all the ferrets are starting to
lose weight. Trouble is, I am afraid it will be cold again. OK, Cath, so it
is always cold in my house. I admit that. That is what blankets and built
in fur coats are for. But never fear, dem fat boys are still mighty fat.

They will be getting nipped soon. I am already going to school with little
yellow dribbles all over my books and my notes. I am quite surprised that
nobody has complained about me smelling like a hob yet. At least, *I* can
smell them all the time on my clothes. Never mind they are always slowly
dragging themselves across my shoes to make sure they are rather odorous.
But I must admit, I like the way the smell. Even if right now the ferrets
have a better sex life than I do.

Well, need to go look for my art book. I cannot imagine how an 8x10 2 inch
thick book has walked off, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it
was with some help. Perhaps Miss Stella is learning to appreciate Western
Art, by humans that is.

hugs to all,

"She is a friend of my mind. She gather me, man. The pieces I am, she
gather them and give them back to me in all the right order. It's good,
you know, when you got a woman who is a friend of your mind."
