marshall farm ferrets

I am a bit confused.  Lately I have been reading about how marshall farm
ferrets were not properly neutered and also that the ferrets living
conditions were very poor.  What I am confused about is that I thought that
marshall farms is a respectable breeder of ferrets.  My new fuzzy (whom I
will get in 8 days) is a marshall farms ferret.  Should I be worried about
the health of my ferret.  I would really appreciate any input.  Thank you
