Still trying to get through the horrendous backlog of email and fert
questions, and I sadly admit I haven't done much about it in the last few
days.  Some of you Easterners might recall I was whining about the left
side of my face and jaw being quite sore.  Well, it got worse, to the point
that I actually went to the ER a couple of days ago.  Turns out I have a
viral trismus, which my son thinks is really cool because I'm not talking
much.  I wouldn't bring this up, except I have told people I was leaving
on the 8th for the west coast, and I might have to delay it a day, maybe
two until I can stop the uncontrolled drooling.  Ok, I'm not drooling, but
it hurts and I want some sympathy, ok?  BTW, does anyone else know how
cortizone feels when injected into the side of your face?  Lets just say I
am not very happy at the moment, and if I could blame anyone, I would.
Hey, I'm a man....I can whine.
 
I don't think this will prevent my attendance at the fert thingie in
Portland.  The delay is not because of the pain (whine), but rather because
the medicine makes me just a tiny bit dizzy and roads look like the
stargate scene in 2001.  There is absolutely no truth to the rumors that
the real reason is because I'm waiting for the scabs on BB's neck to heal
before turning him over to his new mommy.  Taz got a little excited, thats
all, and the bleeding was controllable.  (Of course, I'm just trying to
tease the breeder; she is very protective of her babies.  Just a tease!)
What is true is that kit eats more than three adult ferrets combined, and
can shot the poop more than a foot above the floor.  And he puts out more
poop than four normal ferrets.  I confess I sometimes don't call him "BB"
and instead use "Crap Trap."
 
Sorry for the doubling up of the Q-N-A posts; I have a heap of questions
and very little time to answer them.  There will be a drought as soon as I
am on the road again.
