My worst fears regarding ferret proofing are:
- recliner chairs (got rid of ours) and rocking chairs
- washing machines
- dryers
- dishwasher (if I had one)
- feet (my own included and the 120# dog inadvertently stepping on a ferret)
  window screens
- floor and window fans (logically I know their feet are not going to fit
in the grids and they are too far away)
- doors that close slowly
- fear of leaving outside doors open
- refrigerators (crawling under or slipping into while door is opened)
- toilet paper and paper towel rolls that are empty
- cages and cage doors when they try to get them open
- the worry of them getting into something that will make them sick or is
  poisonous
- ingesting materials that could cause blockages
- getting stuck in drawers

There are many other concerns that don't readily come to mind. Even though
I think I am careful, there are others in my home that don't necessarily
think "ferretese" even though they love the little critters. Being owned
by ferrets has made me paranoid because I have heard and read of so many
horrible deaths and accidents. Ferrets keep us on our toes......
