Thanks for your query regarding the continuing situation in Spokane.
 
Right now, everything is fairly quiet.  All the ferrets have returned to
Jean from the vets, the last two (Mighty Mouse and Freeway) returning to her
shortly after Christmas.  They are doing well, but are still recovering,
time will make the difference.
 
Lance (the suspect) is still in jail, his bail is set at $50,000.  The trial
date is yet to be confirmed.  The Spokane site will be updated once more
news comes to hand.
 
You can keep an eye on the situation by looking at the mirror sites in my
sig <g>
