Thanks to Clare Sebok for posting about the ferret for adoption at howard
county animal control.  I called first thing this a.m., as soon as I read
the post, and a very nice man told me that the ferret had been adopted
already.  I asked him if they usually hold ferrets indefinitely and try to
get them adopted.  He said yes.  I thanked him profusely.  I didn't
especially want a 5th ferret but I wanted to call anyway in case they had a
euthanization policy.
