A few months ago I adopted an abandoned ferret who was quickly dying in the
Chicago summer heat. His hair was patchy at the time, but I was led to
believe this was due to the stress of being left outdoors.

As it turns out, my ferret (Grover) appears to have Ferret Adrenal Disease.
He has all the classic symptoms: hair loss, sluggishness, difficulty
urinating, loss of muscle control in the back legs.

I am considering surgery to remove the adrenal glands. Can anyone share
with me their experiences with such a procedure?

Many thanks,

David Robinson
