Pat asked for a 10 quarantine, they refused with a 14 day quarantine.  I
hardly think Pat Wright is in any position to put pressure on anyone.  And
yes Pete Wilson was asked to comment on ferrets as a whole on January 2nd,
standing on the Capital steps, when he was going over the laws to take place
on the 1st.  His comment (not word for word) was basically all ferrets pose
a threat to Californians and the environment and he would not legalize
ferrets while he is Governor.
 
I wasn't a mouse of either of these two people pockets when this occurred,
but I do not believe this was made up and told to me, to get a rise out of
me.  This is not a flame either, only my opinion and Rocky is as dead as the
last ferret executed in California.
 
At the Ferret Freedom Walk the only incident that took place was a dog bit a
young women and not one ferret bite took place.  That never hit the papers
or TV.
 
The media hounded Pat at his home for an up close and personal interveiw
about getting ready to go to the park.  If you saw the video footage, you
would see who was in whose face.  If everyone stayed at home and kept their
mouths shut about ferrets, we would be 10 yrs behind where we are now.
Nothing worth having is left to chance.  Bad press or no press, the people
of California are being suppressed on more than just the ferret issue.  I am
hurt, angry and very disturbed at getting e-mail that should be directed to
the government that is suppressing its citizens of their fundimental RIGHTS.
As one Pat , nor I can change what has happened, only hope that it would
pull the people together and say enogh is enough.  United we stand - Divided
we fall and shall perish.  Please don't e-mail me with what should've been
done, but with what WE WILL DO.  I've lived all across America and no state
is so suppressed as California.  This is suppose to be the State the rest of
the states look to for change.  The only change I see is in shift of power
from one dictator to another.  To get tags on your new car, say in the
$30,000.  range, costs $800.00, tags for crying out loud.  What's wrong with
this picture.  Sounds more like paying taxes over and over on the same car
to me.  In Texas for the same car thru the mail service is $45.00
 
If no one wants to help the fight for ferrets, fine.  Just sit back and say
nothing.  I don't want to hear about should've, would've or could'ves.
That's irrelevant at this point and crap does happen.  But to those who
stick their necks out for others.
