Several years ago, our male ferret Nolan was diagnosed with eosinophillic
enteritis. He had become listless, wouldn't eat, and vomited what he did
eat.

Our vet put him on a treatment consisting of 1/4 of a 5mg. prednisone
tablet twice daily for five days, then once a day for 5 days, then every
other day. This was combined with a 0.2mg. Ivermectin injection at the
initial treatment and again two weeks later.

This treatment seemed to work well, and Nolan made a complete recovery.
BTW, diagnosis was through exploratory surgury.

Let me know how things turn out.
