I have found a way to virtually eliminate both body and cage odors.  My
secret is a product called PET FRESH.  It`s made by Arm and Hammer, and is
sold as a carpet and room deodorizer,but if a small amount is shaken onto
your ferrets bedding and litter box, you will find the odor gone !!  The one
I use is called Super Fresh, and it sells in pet shops for $1.44 for a 21
oz.  box.  Incidently,I bath my 4 ferts about once a month, and their
bedding once a week, and the powder in their bedding gives them a very
pleasant scent.
