Diana, PLEASE, be careful that your ferret still gets enough Ferret or Cat
Food, and let it steal a little puppy chow only as treat.  Dog foods lack
taurine, and extended taurine deprivation will cause cardiomyopathy (a
terminal illness which can be treated to extend life and quality of life but
can not be cured) and cataracts.
