Hello all,
We're finally back :-)

I don't understand this philosophy about Canadian ferrets being more
aggressive ... we have lots of Canadian and American ferrets and there ain't
a difference folks. As for them being bigger, well, I've met some pretty
huge ferrets on both sides of the border so I couldn't say for sure.
Everytime I see a post about Canadian ferrets they say they are more
"aggressive." I'd like your vet to pop over to my house and see all 23 of
my "aggressive" Canadian ferrets lolling in their hammocks and trying to
reach the food dish without getting out of bed. Makes it sound like the
ferrets on this side of the border are little hell raisers and that's just
not the case. I can pretty much guarantee that the large majority of
"Candian" farm bred ferrets actually came from American stock anyway, so
you're all being hoodwinked.
You're girl might be more aggressive because she's a _girl_. She might be
more aggressive because she's got a pin in her slacks. Maybe she was dumped
recently and is in a vengeful mood ... but I can tell you she's not
aggressive because she's "Canadian."
I'm gonna go cuddle my 1 lb "large size" Canadian girls and give those
"aggressive" critters some serious kissing and hope they don't read the
rumours going around about them :-)
